He's been larping as a Hollywood director since basically MGS3 but it really shifted into high gear around Ground Zeroes.
MGS2 is his magnum opus and he hasn't reached even 25% of that game's brilliance since because everyone keeps telling him he's a generational visionary mastermind and he's been huffing his own farts.
MGS4 really fucked him up in a weird way.

-He wants to direct a movie after he releases Physint
-His mom had to cheat to beat MGS 3 and it took her six months (probably for The End to die of old age. Grannies don't know how to adjust system clocks.)
-Death Stranding 2 could've released in 2023 if not for Covid
-He wants more time to change a few things for DS2 but it's too late--classic Kojima!

How many games he has in him by this point. My guess is Physint and that microsoft funded game will be his last before transitioning into Miyamoto mentor role.
