Okay, I am a little rusty on how to quote here....I'm writing a paper and I want to make sure this is quoted correctly.

“While I was Secretary,” McNamara said, “we used what’s called Agent Orange in Vietnam, a chemical that strips leaves off of trees.” “After the war, it was claimed that that was a toxic chemical, and it killed many individuals, soldiers and civilians exposed to it. Were those who issued the approval to use Agent Orange criminals? Were they committing a crime against humanity? Let’s look at the law. Now what kind of a law do we have that says these chemicals are acceptable for use in war and these chemicals are not?’”

Is that correct?

The second quotation is by McNamara, I assume? If its in the same dialogue then you can put ... between the two instead of juxtaposing the two quotation marks.

If not do what ebw says.

Considering the length of the quotation, some styles might dictate that you indent the entire quotation separately...is this an essay or an article? That sounds more like an interview excerpt than a quotation to prove a point, to me.
