It's pretty much the leader of its genre. In a similar way that Half-life 2 is the leader of the FPS genre, Super Mario Galaxy 2 a leader of platformers, and StarCraft II a leader of RTS, Gran Turismo commands ultimate dominance over the racing genre.

Thats not what iRacing is about though. Physics wise, iRacing does the racing part better. Even though I'm going to let the sub run out on iRacing once GT5 comes out...lol.

The physics may be better, but sometimes it's about the whole package.

translator-san is disappointed with this post. It's a great series because it has a lot content and is the definition of polish and it's basically car porn on a disc.

And I'm kind of selling it short.

Going to go out on a limb and say yes. I'm only basing my opinion on the Best Buy demo though.

Of course it's waaay better physics wise. Iracing is the golden standard in racing simulation. Don't get me wrong in terms of handling GT5 TT's physics engine is superb (it's kinda twitchy though) much much better than GT5P and other console racers.

Man, finally beat S7 and S10 thanks to some tuning setups care of the fine folks at GTPlanet. Alright, Kaz, lay that sweet release date on me. I'm ready. :lol

I agree. I'm sure there are some RTSes that make Starcraft II seem simplistic, but that doesn't make them better games.

I don't suppose the Statros HF is of those 1000 cars? My dad's friend used to have one, so very sexy. I'd kill to see it in a racing game these days.

According to the latest SWERVature, 70 tracks is the total, including variations.
GT5P and PSP garages are transferable, but only for Arcade use and no online.

Also, Eiger has been WIDENED and the rain effect is cool.

It's become a game to them, I think. I think they took a pool on how many delays they could have and still sell 10M units. :lol
