This thread is two-fold:
- Has anybody seen the film Grand Theft Parsons starring Johnny Knoxville?

The trailer isn't all that but how can I not enjoy a movie about GP? For those who don't know or don't want to check the link, Gram was a country(Cosmic American) musician who died young and on his wishes had his body stolen by his friend to be burned in the Joshua Tree National Park where Gram liked to look for Jesus, UFO's and Peyote -- not necessarily in that order. His best songs are timeless and full of pain.
- This friday there is a GP tribute concert -- Return To Sin City: a Tribute To Gram Parsons. Keith Richards and lots of expected folks will play. Sadly, Emmylou doesn't seem to be involved. Anybody interested or planning to attend?
