GRAW Online Achievements

* Heavyweight: Notch 10,000 kills overall online. Yeah, that's right. Ten thousand.
* Deadly: Get four kills in four seconds (read: grenade).
* Unyielding: String together thirty kills before dying.
* Falcon: Shoot down 100 helicopters overall online.
* Sniper: Put together 500 headshots overall online.
* Committed: Play for eight hours straight online—an aptly named achievement, I would say.
* Master of Ceremonies: Host at least 1,000 matches.
* World Champion: Be ranked first on the universal leaderboard. In other words, this marks the most difficult achievement yet in any game.

Not sure if that's all of them.

Nice. I mean, I'll probably achieve none of those, but still nice! :)

I might get the Sniper one. I love reaching out and touching someone from a distance. :)

That's the only one that isnt realistic.

I can already see myself getting the Committed achievement the day it comes out! :D

I would doubt the World Champion achievement carries much in the way of points, but it would be a hell of a thing to have on your gamercard!

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Kinda rolls off the tongue, ya know?

GRAW.... GRRRAW.... GRAAAAW... :D

i've been following graw since it was first unvieled, but helicopters, online? zuh!?

I like those achievements. Hopefully they add more as people begin to accumulate all the original achievments.
Not gonna happen.

Anyway, that ranked first achievement is ridiculous. I think Q4 has it as well...

It's a shame that there isn't a listing of who've gotten what achievements 'cause I'd like to see the number of people that actually have that one.

The rest you can get pretty much over time. :)

RR6's No-collision achievment is up there with the hardcore. Class 1 and 2 cars went somewhat smoothly, but some tracks are straight up impossible with the powerhouse cars. I've decided to let go of that dream...

Summit Strike had a mode called Helo Hunt which had attack choppers coming after you in waves, quite fun but a little silly. I would imagine they kept that mode or there are a few helos in the co-op campaign.

oic. i was thinking only of team deathmatch and stuff

I don't have a problem with hard achievements but I do have a problem with achievements that are damn near impossible.

That "rank #1" achievement is damn near impossible. It pisses me off because I like trying to get all of the achievements in my games and I know that no matter how much I try I will never be able to get that one.

so pretty much all are online based??? man that firt in online leaderboards is brutal

There are single player achievements aswell but they are all secret because they relate to the storyline.

It's a sneaky way to get people to upgrade their Live accounts to Gold. Online achievements, being able to receive invites from GOLD members, seeing them play online...sneaky tactic

my 1337 skills will make sure I get most of them the first day of online play ;)
Uh... you forgot to troll the topic. At least add an "on pc/PS3" in there somewhere.

Fixed!!!

Are developers obligated to put this achievements in every game for X360?

It's an awesome feature.
"This" achievements? Eh?

If you mean achievements in general, then yes. 1000 max for games, 200 max for Live Arcade titles.

Yeah, that "this" was not necessary, i was meaning in general, sorry :)

by the way how does "Committed" work? does it count the time I'm in the same game or does it continue to count even if I change to another game because the last one was shut down or whatever?

i would imagine its 8 solid hours of online play. doesnt sound too bad. this game eats your time quick

its only about 32 games in a row with default 15 minute games

the thing that would suck is if you got booted or lost your connection anywhere after the 5th hour.

The ranked #1 achievement isn't impossible. I mean, someone has to be ranked #1. It's just very very tough, and only a handful of players will actually achieve it. I for one don't feel like every achievement should be something that every player should be able to get. Make 'em special, so they have more value.

It's not quite impossible, but it might as well be. Sure there will be a bunch of people getting it on the first day or so, but you know that there will be quite a few guys that'll play nothing but GRAW all day.. everyday.

Basically, if you don't get it early in the game's lifetime your best bet is to wait 'till hopefully no one plays it anymore.

I hate these stupid achievements that would take someone being holed up in their house in front of their 360 for 5 years to accomplish.

That's why they're called Achievements, and not gifts for just playing the game.

Or, you could go play EA games.

I like EA.

But Live doesn't exactly have "gift" achievements. Stuff like getting MVP, Coach of the Year, and most wins in a season isn't exactly a gift basket.

I'd have to play GRAW for 2 years after GRAW2 came out to get some of those achievements. Like I'm really going to stay interested in a standard fare shooter for that long. And hell, judging by their tongue-in-cheek remarks, even they know some of them are totally unrealistic.

Play for 8 hours straight online? Are they trying to kill people like Korean coffee house Starcraft players?

Looks pretty good. None of them look hard besides the World Champion one. I don't like fucking achievements that are based on online rankings though.

I don't know. 10,000 kills? I played Halo 2 for a long time and I don't think I have gotten that many kills, and it's a much faster paced twitch shooter. Plus, I don't like playing online a lot. Do you realize how many retards you're going to have to wade through online to get 10,000 kills? That's a lot of hours of total frustration.

I like those achievements except for the #1 on the leaderboards one. Not only is that impossible for everyone except the top two or three guys but it also encourages cheating to raise your rank. Besides, the #1 player is not necessarily the one with the most skill, just the one who plays the most.

I like having some difficult achievements, but some of these developers are taking concept too far IMO. Host 1,000 matches? That'll take a while. :/

Yeah, that's the one I have the hardest time with. The first place on the leaderboards achievement is actually pretty cool in my opinion.

8 hours is pretty extreme. That's an entire work day's worth of GRAW. You probably can just sit in the lobby though, at least I would hope so.

it's only 2.88 kills every second if you wanna do it while doing the commited achievement :lol
