So doesn't that mean it requires 2.50? Why wouldn't the version changers work if it only requires 2.0?

Sigh... I'm still not ready to give up a portable Amiga..... this is getting painful!

You can launch gta with a wab changer, LCS uses firmware 2.0, but it throws out an error and you get nowhere...
Yesterday it was reported, that videos in LCS uses the codec that is in the actual 2.0 Firmware, we can fool the system to think it's 1.0-2.01 but it doesn't change the fact, that it doesn't have the piece of software that comes with 2.0+...

Today we hear it's all bogus about the codec stuff...
Several people have gotten the extracted movies to play by adding them to another game.

LCS is designed to run on 2.0 firmware and uses features just not available on 1.x.

Buy 2 psp's if you want to enjoy homebrew and the actual games. Sony will keep updating the firmware and t3h h4ck3r5 will continue hacking it.

That's weird. The game reads the clock speed and adjusts accordingly... I suppose it was probably developed for 333 mhz and if I was a dev I'd leave that mode in... Well, cool.
I'm not sure it does that...

Basically, in races with the AI, they disabled any sort of framerate lock. At 222, there are times when you see very short bursts of 60 fps, but that's quite rare. At 333, the lack of a framerate lock allows the game to actually hit 60 fps most of the time. It's not completely constant, but it's suprisingly close and feels fantastic. However, they DID add a framerate lock to the single ship modes, as I assume those WERE running at 60 at 222 and they wanted the game to feel even across the board. Even at 333, the time trials and practice runs only run at 30 fps. Thankfully, that's not the main way to play Wipeout...

this game is so HOT ... holy shit.

It's all over Aki - loads of places have lots of stock.
If GTA:Tokyo becomes a reality, then the final piece of this sales juggernaut is complete.

GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas were enough. I'm getting a bit sick of the series at this point. I'll hold off and wait to see what the next-gen GTA brings to the table.
