I wonder if Skritt are deeply offended whenever Asura are described as "rats"
Nah. Just under 200 members now. Just whisper an officer to get back inIs the guild still pretty full? I guess I got kicked (totally justifiable after a long absence) but if you're no longer bumping against the cap I'd like to get back in. I probably won't play a ton til after the holidays, so if not I won't be offended.

So long suckers >_<!
Uh, could I get back in the guild? I haven't been so active recently but I still play it on and off and plan to play Lost Shores. WHY GAF, WHY
Last I checked we weren't hurting for spots in the guild. I'm sure you could up the limit to a month and be just fine. Now I can't get back in because there are no officers online. Maybe I'm missing the reason we're so anal about it.
This is another reason we need a broader spectrum (time-wise) of "officers". I play practically every day from 8 am to whenever....rarely ever is there an officer online.
they have almost the same information as normal members , you can only see players name, map location, profession lv and achievement points( this information does not show if people have not played in a while)
It probably depends on how many Skritt are present at the time of the offense. If its a single Skritt, he's probably not intelligent enough to recognize that the noises being made are actually forming words, much less ones that could be construed as offensive. If it's a large mob of Skritt, their collective intelligence might be enough to recognize that their species is being used as a pejorative to insult a different species. At least for a few seconds, before they get distracted by shinies.
in their defense SHINIESSSSSSSS
I see even Asuran are attracted to the Shinies much like Skritt.
Coincidence?
Im just sizing up my next meals, thats all ^^.Don't judge us.

Roasted Asuran with basil and some cauliflower on the side.
When does a thief backstab build get feasible? I was toying around with dagger/pistol last night and having fun, but it wasn't efficient at all. However, I'm only level 19. =P
I would start combat with 3, let them miss a blind attack, then drop a smokescreen, let them miss another attack, then use 2 (to go stealth in the blind field), then get behind them and backstab. It's pretty fun, but that combo wasn't killing stuff outright and I still took a chunk of damage (compared to something like sword/pistol).
Are there traits or skills I need absolutely to make this work more efficiently?

No spoilers for me! But as soon as I'm home I'm down to run a fractals... path or however the heck it works. As much as I can before I have to go to dinner. When I get back, it's energy drinks, snacks, and loot.

D/p is my favorite weapon combo, though. It does become very effective at higher levels.
Do you mean Blinding Powder, rather than smokescreen? (The pistol 5). If so you've got that skill rotation down exactly right. There are quite a few traits (which you can't use yet) that maximize that, and other circumstances to consider, however. After the backstab, consider swapping weapons to p/d and using the 3 to get back to range- stack some bleeds/vuln and cripple, then swap back when the cooldown's ready to repeat. Don't neglect your utility skills, either. Replace step one with Scorpion Wire to save the initiative (could do two full powder/heartseeker/backstab combos before disengaging). Heartseeker can be a useful leap finisher for tons of fields- not just the Stealth from smoke. Having your elite skill available for tougher fights is a pretty big deal for thieves IMO (it seems to not matter quite as much for some classes).
What is this?

Fractals are level 80, correct?

Is the main guild still Stormbluff only?
Also is repping the guild required?

i no longer hate you!I was being sarcastic btw
it was like two seconds long
Maybe THAT's why they did it at such an inconvenient timeThis is virtually unplayable due to lag
So how many groups can we get going for these fractals tonight? I suppose we should set something up on GUILDGAF?
Lol, you mean gafguild? If it's anything like the initial traffic for the MK dungeon.... there's no need to set anything up- you won't have any trouble finding a group
edit: I'm really scared for the lighthouse :'(
Some people are getting wrecked right now in LA, hahaha
Just a bad feeling
Oh hey, Surprise, I was kicked from the guild. I have a level 80 and 6 other lower level characters, with about 1500 achievement points (If you check the guild tab now that's better than about 60% of the guild, and had just logged in the past 4 days to do some WvW.
I wonder why... I guess it's not longer the number of achievement points but we are cherrypicking people we like. *rollseyes*
