Hail to the Rainbow is a visually stunning dark sci-fi post-apocalyptic adventure set in a gloomy world overrun by murderous robots.

Drawing inspiration from the work of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, Hail to the Rainbow follows the story of a young man who is trying to survive in the frost-bitten wilderness of post-apocalyptic Russia. It’s a world where cyberpunk augmentation and robotics went too far and now threatens to wipe out humanity (Skynet style). Thankfully though, you’ve been contacted by a mysterious stranger who says they can help you.

The demo build of Hail to the Rainbow features two different vertical slices of the game and takes around 40 minutes to play through. It looks incredible, with highly detailed environments and some breathtaking outdoor vistas. It’s a fairly linear and cinematic experience, with gameplay that feels a little like The Invincible, but with puzzles, stealth and combat. It really immerses you in the world and the story, and it makes for a fascinating place to explore. Highly recommended.
