Don't know if this is old or not, but I was looking through the Best Buy marketing notes (this could be Canadian stores only or not) but apparently there's a Halo 2 bundle coming soon.

Can any other Best Buy employees confirm this for Canada or USA?

I don't think MS could do a bundle like this before E3. There's got to be a price drop looming.

Not at all, it's a real bundle. Apparently just like the Mech Assault 2 bundle that just came out (which isn't selling very hot, mind you).

Oh shit... If this turns out to be true, and it's the blue box that Japan got with the DOA:U LE bundle... then I'm going to be out 170 bucks again (I bought the Halo LE bundle when it came out).

I'll definitely be getting an X-Box if there is a price drop / bundle in the future. I wouldn't expect anything until after E3 though when the 360 or whatever enters the publics mind.

I'm not too surprised... Canadians have been spoiled with the old bundles. The Mechassault 2 bundle is selling for the same price as the older bundles where you would get two games. These days people would rather just get a standalone and buy Halo 2!

Microsoft will probably drop in the Summer or the Fall, I'd say.

Leaning towards Fall because I think they are trying to create an overlap where the price drop of the original Xbox will have the item selling to casual buyers while the Xbox "2" attracts first adopters.

That, was probably the worst thing I ever got told to sell during my time at Best Buy. What sucked, is how it was $40 bucks, and was a shitty controller, and a dvd with stuff you could see on the interweb for free. We got so many of those returned. It did come with coupons, which people used and returned the box without them. Ha.

I saw a transparent blue XBox last week...seems like it's been available for months. Might be different to the one you're talking about though.
