Halo 2: NeoGaf Games Mini Tournament. (v. B) Interest Thread.
First of all, sorry I didnt post this in the online forum; but no one reads that thing. (unless you are in one of the leagues)
Like the name says, this will be a sort of a beta test to more Gaf Games Mini Tourneys. Just like we have the NFL leagues and NBA leagues; this will be FFA and Team leagues for action games. If every thing goes well, then Gaf Games: Gears of War, and Resistance are not to far behind. (Hey Admin Can I call it Gaf Games?)
But lets not get ahead of our-selves. This is the interest thread. I would like to know how many people would actually be interested in this. Maybe in the future we could have prizes being given out, but in order to get to that stage we need to have a stable league. Although I havent spoken to any NeoGaf Admins, but I am going to ask if we could get a special tag for the champs.

Q: Why Halo 2?
A: The Game has been out for 2 years, more people on GAF own it, and besides the next gen leagues will come when proper next gen games come out.
Q: What is the purpose behind this league?
A: Just another way to keep Gaffers, to keep playing the damn games after the first week of release.
Q: Why have it now?
A: Many people still play H2 online, i just wanted to get them all together again, and to see if can continue this with other games coming out soon.
Q: Will it be competitive?
A: I certainly hope so. I want this to be our Action game League. (Like the Sports league we have)
Q: Why should you participate?
A: Hey I am not going to force you to participate, but I would recommend anyone who wants to have fun and or enjoys being competitive to join.
Q: Is there going to be a strict schedule that I have to follow for the games?
A: No; this is just a quick test to see if we can do that for the future purposes. But for this there will not be any timings you have to follow. Although when game times are posted, we would love to have more than 3 people on.
Q: Can I join, and act like a jerk when its game time?
A: Please do us all a favor and dont join.
Q: Is this for GAF only?
A: Since this is a beta test of sorts, No. But their gamer tags must be posted in this thread. (how they do that is up to them)
Q: I dont want to play Halo 2, can I just wait until Gaf Games: Gears or Resistance starts?
A: Well considering those will only happen if interest is high enough for my initial setting (which is what this is). So I highly recommend you join even if for only a few games.
