How do 1v1's feel this time around? I still run 1v1's on Lockout and I hope Halo 5 can capture that magic again.
Do you know if there will be another 343 Pros vs HCS pros match up anytime soon? I mean after the Halo 2 defeat, tensions were high with the comments about quad host, etc. Could have something like Arena Strongholds, Breakout and then end with an Arena CTF best of three etc.

.Super intense. Especially with all the movement abilities and crazy jumps/routes you can take. To me, map movement and map knowledge are still insanely important.
I'm sure it'll happen again at some point, that was a lot of fun.

How's the customization in the game? Thought I saw strafe speed modifications
A guy just opened a premium pack on stream and it was super underwhelming.. Rare warthog skin (kinda plain camo paint job) and a rare emblem.. Plus obviously a bunch of warzone bits that you get in other packs.
Idk if it's just because it hasn't released yet so it hasn't been properly tweaked but that's put me off getting the premium bundle :L

He did have some legendary/ultra rare stuff in his collection after he was done with all the packs he had.. but that could have come from gold packs or something. Just saying what I saw.
From the looks of it, he said they were the premium ones and he had 2. And it wasn't one of the packs you can buy in the store. He must've just had a super unlucky roll.
Man, seeing what the final victory poses turned to, why did they cut the dudebro stuff? That was a great way to cheese or rub it in. Now it's just a 4 second shot of them standing around. Imagine if we could have had our characters do certain Destiny emote style taunts and insults.
There was so many complaints about how dude-bro and frat boy-like it was.. I didn't mind them but there were enough to get them removed. I really really hope there are custom stances you can assign to the end screen.
Dumb thing to complain about, especially seeing the result now. I haven't seen anything about custom stances and I think it's too late to add or change it now. We're stuck with a shot 4 second shot of them just standing around now, all serious. Missed opportunity, in my opinion.
Additionally, I love the DMR scope now. I'd love if I could get something similar for the BR as opposed to the middle horn iron sights.

I like the current poses. The dude bro high fives got old when I was playing, and that was just the beta. If they were going to do stuff, it should be REQ pack unlocks akin to the assassinations.
RNG is RNG.
If he got three permanent unlocks, it's working as intended. And if you're talking about ImJahova, his packs were all as advertised when he just opened around 10 of them.
Also, it looks like rank up and commendation packs have the same rewards for everyone. Pretty sure I saw the traitor emblem pulled from the same commendation pack on two different streams.

Ugh, I really want to see the Warzone Assault maps.
And as was said earlier, I really hope the DLC brings us some more visually interesting arena maps, especially ones with some nature.

Yup I don't understand why people would ruin it for everyone else. I hope team animations get added to the game later.
It's a shame they didn't make it a togglable like the other things that got complained about but it might have been trickier to implement.

-No BR on map.
-Ditto power weapons. Or at least don't make the power weapon be a damn Hydra, c'mon.
-Everybody spawns with pistols only.
-1 or 2 smgs on map, depending on size. 1 on Crossfire, 2 on Altitude, which is actually pretty huge.
-Instead of reduced shields, shields do not recharge. Maybe just take regular shields off and give everybody an Overshield at spawn, I dunno. Low, recharging shields tends to encourage more conservative play, from what I've seen; hop out of cover, then back in. Non-recharging shields presents the very cool opportunity for crazy kamikaze plays from low health players too.

Usually play through campaign before doing multiplayer but I might not be able to wait to dive in to some arena.
Some people found them offensive and/or in bad taste? Not hard to understand when you're going for broad appeal on a multi million dollar franchise.

It's not about being taunted. The style of emoting that the spartans did was indicative of neither the spartans themselves nor the player base. It was tonally wrong for the game entirely.

In an ideal world, the end game screen would be fully customizable. Every Spartan picks their own reaction; some are stoic, some are bro-y, some troll, some go full Tebow...

These were Spartan-IV's though, doing war games simulations. It fits with their Spartan Ops nature and the stuff they said in the game a bit. I'm not saying go flat out balls to the wall with insults or taunts, but having them do high fives or a semi-come at me bro was hardly 'offensive'. I didn't necessarily like them much but seeing what there is now, the former was much better than the latter no?
Additionally, can anyone who is playing tell me if I can make this emblem in any way in Halo 5? Can I have this design the shield with the crossed swords in these exact colors or no? It seems like I'm stuck with static call of duty or Destiny style emblem banners, and the icon customization of the past is gone.
