Halo Infinite Might be Released Early

It uses the multiplayer tile which is interesting. And multiplayer makes the most sense for early access due to the sweats grinding. I will not be buying.
 
The anticipation is killing me, I've skipped FC6 and stopped my playthrough of the GoT DLC so as to not be burnt out on open worlds when this releases. Please jesu christi be an amazing game and remind me of the time I was told to rescue those 3 groups of marines in any order in the first open level of Halo:CE.

I'm 99% sure the mp is the base game and required for downloading anything Halo infinite related, which is why it would be bundled here
 
My guess would be early access + purchase of the first four battle passes.

Kinda like battlefield is doing with their premium version of 2042.

It's not early access, it's early access to the game.

But, I do agree that 343 are a mess, and it without doubt all boils down to their management. Phil should shake them up once this has shipped.

Yeah, the standard version doesn't is what mean, expecting something similar here. I'll be doing whatever it takes, regardless.
 
They had ultimate editions for State of Decay, Forza and Gears of War that would give you early access if I remember right

Seems to be the norm for them

Early Access means it will release early for those that buy the bundle. Some people are getting confused and thinking "early access" means it will be an early access game lol.

If this is true the early access edition will probably release on Dec 3

After playing the Infinite flights, the multiplayer is clearly ready to go, now. Best Halo mp since H3.

Weve waited 6 years since the last Halo - and actually since 2007 since the last GOOD Halo multiplayer. I need to play Infinite mp NOW!
 
I don't think they're technically releasing it early, they're just pulling the same stunt they're doing with Forza. They're trying to gouge the players who can't wait into giving them an extra 40-50 bucks so that they can play a few days before everyone else. Ubisoft and others have been pulling this nonsense for years. I don't like it, but hey, if people are going to fall for it, and pay an extra ten dollars per day just to play a game 5 days early...
 
As I don't plan to cancel my GP subscription, i won't bite just for early access, i can wait, will be playing tons of forza

At least with Forza you get the VIP pass/Car Pass and 2 Expansions. They are going to need to throw something in to sweeten the pot for Halo.

This is what you get with Forza if you pay extra and play the game on Gamepass.

"GAME PASS MEMBERS, get EARLY ACCESS and all the EXTRA CONTENT included with the Premium Edition at one low price! The Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle allows you to play four days early beginning 5 November 2021. It also includes the Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership and two game expansions when they become available. This add-on requires Forza Horizon 5 (game sold separately)."

Seems like a the VIP membership and game expansions are what people are buying and the 4 day early access is a nice bonus, rather than the other way around.

Based on the prices for VIP, and the game expansions for 4, it doesn't seem unreasonable to buy that - if you were going to get those things anyway.

If Halo offers a pack of season passes up front and gives early access on top, I'll likely go for it, since I expect to buy the season passes anyway.

I wonder how many people would go for that vs how many people would buy ONE season pass with bundled early access. It could be that Microsoft could make more by selling a single season pass with bundled early access. People would jump on it, I would think.

Since gamepass has this I'll play it to see if it's any good, hopefully it's at least worth a bit of my time. Of all the MS games this and hellblade are the two I have the least interest in, will see how it turns out. Probably not just MS games, but of all MS gamepass titles to be released.

I would hope the Halo BP lets you earn enough credits to buy the next one if you complete it, similar to Fortnite and other BP systems.

I would buy early access with the first BP if that was the case.

It'll be interesting to see - the Halo Battlepass is different in that it won't expire, apparently. So you can spend as long as you like collecting everything.

For that reason, I wonder if it's likely that they'll award credits for the next battlepass, because literally everyone will only need to buy one if they're the same in every other way.
