Happy birthday Miyamoto

In appreciation, this thread is for any memories/stories you want to share about Miyamoto's games.. Please keep console politics and trolling out of this thread.

I think my most memorable moment playing a Miyamoto game was beating Zelda: Link to the Past. It's one of my favorite endings of any game. From the epilogue, to the credits with the mountains in the background, listening to a beautiful tune that slowly morphs into the Zelda theme... Just a perfect experience.

Happy birthday Shigeru! (cause we all know he's a GAF lurker)

What a sexy beast

Too bad he doesn't have "it" anymore. His significance in the gaming industry is over.
Just kidding, Pikmin 2 is one of the best games this generation

Happy birthday, you beautiful bastard.

You better not fuck up Mario 128, damn it!

wow, what a great time to have just received super mario world 2: yoshi's island in the mail. REALLY enjoying that game (how the hell did I never get into it before). So, uh, yeah...apparently I'm a little late to the party, but thanks and such. :D

Latest interviews say that he's delaying his birthday for a while, while he runs several experiments to see which way would be the optimal way to have a birthday.

Happy Birthday, Happy Man.

Happy Birthday!

I'm optimistic 2006 will be the year of Miyamoto's return to glory with his new franchise and Super Mario 128 (and I hope his input for New Super Mario Bros. and LOZ: Twilight Princess will be substantial as well to avoid the mixed reception Wind Waker and Sunhine got).

Happy Birthday Mr. Miyamoto! Now get your ass back to making great games instead being consumed by your lame ass management role.

Sure, you don't read this forum but I'll say that Super Mario Bros. got me into gaming.

Infinite thanks. Play some banjo for us at the next E3

Although it's a day late. Happy birthday Miyamoto. May you continue making the games you want, and may they be just as original and imaginative as they ever were.

Happy b-day to you too, Chittagong.
