There are so many tools at hardcore shows I just want to beat the fuck down. Even tonight when I saw Dead to Fall and Atreyu....so many people that deserved to die.

But hey, Atreyu did a genuine, non-planned encore after 5 minutes of chanting from the audience after Lip Gloss and Black and played their cover of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name"
after they came back out on stage they had to wait like 5 minutes to start because they had no more drumsticks :lol now THAT is hardcore =p

All concerts done inside arenas seem to have the same "concert over....lights still out? Here comes the encore!" rule. At least the one's I've worked. If 99% of the crowd leaves...then they come back and play for 15 people...now that's hardcore

i'd agree with you....except that on this entire tour they haven't done an encore. and they'd never played this song live before (to the best of my knowledge), ever.
and if it was a planned encore, they would have had fucking drumsticks ready :lol

and, I wouldn't call this place an arena...more of a "smash 1000 people inside an old, dirty building" house.

no, the band didn't say that...i was looking at the setlist for every other stop on their tour. and they never played.
i am no fool miggy...i know bands say shit to every crowd...but really, on at least their last 2 tours where they were popular, they never played it. the band themselves never mentioned that they hadn't played it before. i just am obsessed enough to know their setlist =)

and the lights flickered. they came on, they went back off once the band came back.

I keep my eye out for a copy for you, sir. I'm just not coughing mine up because to have it be that NEW and that MINTY in a used bin, was really unusual. Worth every penny! :)
