I didn't even realize it until 2 minutes ago. :lol

Seems like GAF also forgot as I couldn't find any thread about this either. :D

Some website I cut and paste text from said:
Today, people celebrate the day with parades, wearing of the green, and drinking beer. One reason St. Patrick's Day might have become so popular is that it takes place just a few days before the first day of spring. One might say it has become the first green of spring.

Hurray for being Irish, for being related to someone who's Irish, for once meeting an Irish person, or once seeing a clover in a field!

Time to watch some Boondock Saints.

I meet all of these requirements! I win St. Patrick's Day!

Interesting. Irish is among the top 5 ancestries in every state except Hawaii and New Mexico, little trivia bit mentioned during a parade broadcast.

I come from the land of the Irish spring
Dublin's the place where I learned my thing
From the Emerald Isle to your place in the hood
I'm the man of green come to do no good

Lep in the Hood, come to do no good
Lep in the Hood, come to do no good

Plenteous dope, this place is hot
There's a lassie, she's just my type
I hate to resort so soon to magic
Haven't been laid in so long it's tragic

I'm so bad, I'm good

I'll show you what to do, so lend an ear
Don't worry, little lassie, you've got nothig to fear
Sit with the lad who's lean and green
And let me show you why I'm a love machine

Come to do no good

I'm a wee green guy who's new to town
Show me what you do when you get down
I'll do up, you go down
We'll cause a scene, you'll love the green

Lep in the Hood, come to do no good
Lep in the Hood, when we're bad, we're good

From the cliffs of More to your front door
Better turn out the lights and pray some more
We're gonna party through the night until the dawn
Then you and I are gonna get it on

Lep in the Hood, come to do no good
Lep in the Hood, come to do no good

Lep in the Hood, come to do no good
Lep in the Hood ...

Come to do no good

I watched The Boondock Saints for the first time two days ago, I enjoyed it very much.

Now to get my shamrock on.

It is ultimately a Coors brand in the "tradition" of an Irish brew, but Killian's Irish Red is a big-time favorite among many, St. Patrick's Day or not.

It also gave me today's wallpaper:

Remember, a real Irish Black & Tan is GUINNESS AND HARP'S.

Not Bass!

I'll be doing some Irish car bombs tonight!

Oooh yes, Almost forgot about Murphey's being better when I was in Ireland. Black and Tans and Irish car bombs, shit I am getting trashed tonight!

Ah Black & Tans, so tedious yet so delicious. By about my fourth, I lose patience trying to slowly dribble the Guinness(and/or Murphy's and/or Beamish) over a teaspoon to make it proper I just dump the damn thing straight in the Harp.

My ancestors were probably owned by an Irish plantation owner!

*drinks and drinks and drinks*

Hahahaha, Irish people didn't own plantations. They didn't own shit until awhile after the Civil War.

Irish were actually sold on the West Indy Slave Trade in the 16th century.

I approve of this msg! Trader joes had a 4 pack of pints of murphys for 5.99. Needless to say I was pleased!

Too bad I have a final at 8am tomorrow. WTF
