Agreed. Invisible Kid is the worst Metallica song for me.

Purify is easily the worst. I think invisible kid is actually like the 3rd best song on St Anger.

My personal listing without hearing all of Hardwire

S&M
MOP
Ride
Justice
KEA
Load
Black
Reload
Hardwire here maybe
DM
St Anger

Listening through again, I think I'm starting to like it more. Now That We're Dead doesn't bother me as much as it initially did. Between the "Lick It Up" intro, kind of annoying rockin' riffs and vocals I was like man FUCK THIS. It's not terrible though, at least it stands out from some of the forgettable stuff on disc two

Confusion has some really cool parts but overstays its welcome. There's not enough going on there to warrant almost 7 minutes.

Still do not like Dream No More. May as well listen to the real deal

If they removed Dream, Murder, and Manunkind the album would be stronger as a whole. Revenge is inoffensive but also doesn't add a whole lot. As far as "nothing amazing but it sounds good" there's better the album has to offer. My biggest fault of the album is that there's just way too much samey sounding stuff that by proxy lessens the impact of the better material

Black Album
Load
Master of Puppets
Ride the Lightning
And Justice for All
Death Magnetic
Kill Them All
Reload
St. Anger

Only heard five songs from Hardwired... so far, but it might be in the top 5 for me, with Dream No More and Atlas Rise being awesome, Confusion and Moth being very good, and Hardwired not being completely awful at least.

Hey guys I preordered this on Amazon, never preorders an album before, but Amazon says free MP3 rip with purchase so I should be able to listen to this midnight tomorrow?

Depends on when Amazon flicks the switch, but yes, that is generally how it goes. One of my various preorders is also through them, so I'll be on top of it and posting here when it happens. Can't beat $9.99 for the deluxe album with AutoRip!

Hell yes thanks! Yea, 9.99 for a deluxe plus auto rip is sweet as hell! Love Amazon,

Master of Puppets
Ride The Lightning

...And Justice for All
Hardwired...To Self-Destruct
Kill 'Em All

Death Magnetic
The Black Album

Load
ReLoad
St. Anger

It possibly the hype talking, but that's where I'm at right now. At most, HTSD will only slide down one spot. This album kicks ass. Speaking of...

Halo on Fire
Spit Out the Bone

Atlas, Rise!
Dream No More
Moth Into Flame

Confusion
Hardwired
Now That We're Dead
Here Comes Revenge

Am I Savage?
ManUNkind
Murder One

Confusion was sitting near the bottom after my first listen through, but it's managed to claw its way up after repeated plays. I guess it was because Disc 2 has a lot similar songs and they all blended together that first time when played back to back. As a lot of people seem to be saying, if they would have dropped 3 or 4 songs, this album would be even stronger.

I'm a bit mad that St. Anger and Death Magnetic didn't have mixing/mastering on a similar level than Hardwired.

I mean how the fuck can a random YouTube guy make an album of the biggest metal band ever sound better all by himself?

I'd totally be for a complete re-recording of Death Magnetic with Hardwired quality sound, Hardwired James vocals and lyrics tweaking.

Hardwired kicks ass. Am I the only one that things Atlas Rise is the standout track? One of their best songs ever, in my opinion. Fucking love it.

Someone else pointed it out, but I really do think this is a great album as far as blending the different Metallica sounds seamlessly.

ManUNkind, Murder One, and Dream No More are kind of duds to me, though.

Because he wasn't trying to intentionally sabatoge it's sound.

Atlas Rise is easily one of my favorite songs on the album.

The blond guy is obviously "Dead".

And the black metal Metallica logo is a play on Mayhem's. I guess it's a tribute video to Mayhem? So bizarre.

Can you elaborate? Who's the youtube guy who fixed both those mixes? How do I find them? I didn't like the last two albums because the mix was terrible.

Wait a minute - at the beginning, the blond guy (Dead) is breathing in "the smell of Death" (from the carcass of a raven) like the Mayham dude did. This shit is to awesome.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
I can't be the only who thinks the actual song is awful.
