If the others are anything to go by I cannot fathom what the hell the video for Spit out the Bone is gonna be like.....

New LoS is actually listenable but I still think the lyrics are lame. Probably a fun song live though.

It doesn't fit the album thematically but I'm glad I got the deluxe version for this. Hope the covers sound as good

LoS is a fun song. Lyrics are cheesy, but in an endearing way, I think.

Speaking of the other covers, I'm listening to CD3 of HTSD and the remastered Ronnie Rising is mind blowing. When a Blind Man Cries up next!

Lars so casual in the video, playing drums with a toothpick in his mouth.

So is this basically Fight Club? Saw the sneak peak photos and didn't imagine it was like that.

One day he will swallow it by accident and it will get tragic.

Also FUCK that song is just too good. Really my favorite of the album.

Oh and looks like James hating microphones really is a running theme throughout all those videos haha

"We're on a budget, what're the cheapest most weird videos we could make?"
Kirk: "Hooboy, I've been waiting my whole life for this"

Yeah they probably said "What if instead of doing 1-2 super high budget videos we take the same money but do like 12 low budget videos"

I like this idea even if I'll probably never re-watch those videos after today. It's been fun all day and too bad I'll miss the release of Spit out of the bone cause it's in the middle of the night here.

"Kirk you know these videos have to make sense right?"
"What?, Can't hear you, wah is too loud"

yea fuck me they could have made any number of amazing music videos for this song, this is not it.

Exactly. Halo is a fucking great track - the video is not, which is weird considering everything else they have released today has fit the songs thematically.

I'm digging the weirdness/abstraction of all the videos. Hope they release them all on bluray or something. It's old school, but doing a whole album's worth of videos is pretty novel. It's basically 2016 Metallica!

This is too much to take in, what in the fuck are they doing to us with all these videos? 3 more since I went to bed...

ManUnkind just blew me away, almost fell off the couch - the video AND the song....

Murder One will have cars in it
I'm psychic
Trust me

I'll see your psychic prediction, and raise you one outlandish claim!

Murder One will have footage from the unreleased Metallica game, AND will announce it's available now on all consoles/PC! Believe!
Still gutted we never got it...

Never happening
This is a first in music history, right? I mean was there any other band that released an album this way?
Didn't Beyonce and Justin Bieber do it? Lol.

Holy shit Lords of Summer sounds really good in its updated form(or completed form, I guess). Lyrics are cheesy but damn its fun.

Also, near the end I was hoping he would do an Eric Adams metal scream. Sounds like he was starting one lol.

This album is pretty good. Its like a thrashier version of Load/Reload. Biggest problem with DM was lyrics and poor melodies and this does a much better job. Still a bit too repetitive at parts but songs feel much more cohesive with tempo changes that you would expect out of a Metallica album. Album feels like it is a more genuine effort at just doing what they want than them feeling obligated to sound like their old stuff. You can see influences from their entire catalog in this album. I love Justice, Puppets, etc but Load/Reload still had some really great songs like Bleeding Me, Until it Sleeps, Outlaw Torn. Its nice to see them not completely abandon the good parts of that style while still having plenty of thrash to offer too.

This is the type of music Metallica should've been putting out for the last 20 years. Spit out the bone and Here comes regevenge are my favorite so far!

Okay, just listening to ManUnkind again: sounds like Led Zep, Sabath and Maiden had an orgy with ancient viking warrior women and....well...there it is!

Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing. The album is like the fucking cherry on top, a tribute to their entire carrier. I think it's absolutely fantastic thus far, still have 4 more song to listen to but I'll let that for tonight after work.

Wow, I guess it doesn't get more low budget than stealing footage from Destiny:Rise of Iron, Power Rangers Fight scenes and pressing "I'm feeling lucky" on Google images.
