There was something in Marble Madness on one of the levels.

If you stayed put on a square near the top and let it count down it would warp you to the end of the level, or may have been to next level.

Cant exactly remember as it's been 40 years or so

There was the secret water level in Marble Madness, i cant remember how you accessed it i think you stayed on a square then jumped over a ramp to access it at some point.

I've not heard of the warp thing before.

I remember that in Daytona USA there was a horse as an Easter Egg.

Daytona was the first racing game I can remember where you can go off course and explore (which included a field of horses), completely different to the basic restricting racing games that preceded it.

There was a Jeffrey statue (a Virtua Fighter fighter) in Daytona USA that could be manipulated. Stupid fun.
