Soul Calibur 3 is, what? 3-4 months old?

That game is fucking beautiful, especially some of the backgrounds (hello Lost Cathedral). In progressive it's just inspiriing. This is on PS2, mind you.

No I think it is fairly obvious they aren't trying/don't care with some of these titles. If SCIII-next looks bad, I'll start to wonder.

The Chronicles of the Sword mode (the environments) isn't too shabby either.

I'm gonna be pissed of Lost Cathedral/Destroyed Cathedral aren't levels in next generation SC. That level just mesmerizes me. Someone start up the petition~

I played a bit of RR PSP the other day and to me it's still the sexiest looking racer around. Maybe not technically (although it's pretty impressively polished in that respect), I don't know, is it technically impressive. But it just so damn lush. It's like the gaming equivalent of Miranda Richardson's cleavage in Sleepy Hollow.

Just about everyone loves Katamari. Who cares about another flying game in the industry's older genre?

I dislike Katamari Damacy completely, and Ace Combat is a wildly popular series with a large following. KD has cult hit status, but it doesn't exactly tear up the charts. I could strike up an Ace Combat conversation with alot of people at work, but most would totally blank out when I mention KD, and would be turned off when I mentioned the premise.
