Now my PC is a PC I built about 6 months ago, very high-end with everything updated. Anyway, my friend brought HWC over and when we installed it it gets past the opening but then gives a black screen that says "CATCL -1.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close". The usual Windows XP error.

My computer is custom built that my friend made (I choose all the parts), and certain times such as when a disc is being read it starts making a loud noise, sort of like what the XBOX 360 makes. Any ideas why it would be so loud?
