I have a GCN with component cables and was wanting to know of some decent brand crt 16:9 hdtvs in the 30"-40" range that have decent "zoom and stretch modes". Alot of games from this gen support progressive scan mode but don't support 16:9 aspect ratio. So I what I am looking for is a TV with all the best zoom and stretch features and I want to stay away from any hdtv that auto zooms native 4:3 once in progressive scan mode. Also I want to stay away from any HDTV that doesn't allow you to stretch and zoom in 480p modes. And finally can someone explain non linear stretch mode to me and why its important. Kleegamefun may be able to help me with this one.
