This is probably a long shot, but I figured I'd ask anyway...
so here's the scenario:
Being an almost obsessive fan of an obscure Japanese designer by the name of Kazutoshi Iida (Tail of the Sun and Aquanaut's Holiday for the PSX), I ended up importing the PAL version of Doshin the Giant for the GameCube. Frustrated that those bastards at Nintendo Entertainment of America for not bringing this to the US, I knew I had to get Tail's spiritual successor by any means.
After getting some advice by some of my PAL friends, I learned that DOSHIN is able to run on US TVs, as long as you have a FreeLoader.
Well, it runs perfectly fine. The son of a bitch just doesn't have any color. It's probably one of those small-print details I missed once I learned that it could run fine on a US TV.
I'm wondering if there is ANYTHING I could get/buy that would bring the color out of this game. Component cables? Specialty cables that would work with a US NGC and US TV? Anything?? At this point I'd just be willing to buy the Japanese import, but that's about as easy to find as a life-sized Natalie Portman faux-vagina.
Any help, other than the obligatory 'give it up- you'll only play in B/W', would be greatly appreciated....
