Ok, so here's my symptoms:

Sunday night I felt like I had a piece of food stuck in my throat, so I try to scrape it out with my finger and I think it got lodged down lower. But it's not a big piece of food so I don't care.

But since then, I've been dry coughing a lot, and there's a constant tickle in my throat, and now my lungs feel like there's pressure on them with a slight dull pain.

I'm not coughing up any kind of mucus or blood or anything, it's completely dry. I have no fever, no snotty nose, no cold chills, no anything. Only the lung pressure and dry cough.

What is wrong with me?

The fact that you posted this in the gaming forums.

There needs to be a new one of those clever acronyms for people who first post here rather than seeking real medical advice.

Perhaps if there's food stuck in there, it has become putrid and is beginning an infection of your respiratory tract?

Edit: Maybe trying to scrape it out with your finger contributed by somehow subtly tearing up the lining of the tract, and allowed whatever's in there to infect it?

Oh advice,

Trying giving yourself the Heimlich Maneuver.

Anyway, good luck with it....oh, if you have health insurance take advantage of it..if not just hope it goes away. :p

I actually have a slight fear of doctors/hospitals. :\

Anyway, if it were an infection, I thought there was supposed to be mucus involved?

There would (from what I know, granted I haven't studied medicine)

So then...doesn't it bother you that you have pressure but no mucus...what could be causing it then?

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
Tritroid,

It sounds more likely that you scrapped your throat. Try eating soft foods for a couple of days and see if the feeling lessens.

Psst, any doctor worth his salt in Medicine would say 'Go see a doctor.'

Why? To drum up business for our fellow peers....er, um, I meant because we can't diagnose anything over the interweb.
