I have a BQ Aquaris M5 with Android 5.x. Yesterday was working fine, but I received a Skype message, but the app was freezing whenever I tried to open it, so I decided to restart my phone. When the phone was turning off, the screen went white and it didn't respond. I googled how to do a soft reset, and I did so by keeping the turn off and both volume buttons pressed.
It restarted without problems, but when it turned on I didn't have phone signal and it wasn't detecting my phone card. I tried both slots without any luck.
It had no sound either, and entering the sound and notifications menu on the settings crashes the settings app.
Wi-fi works, but it takes a loooooong time to start working.
I decided to do a factory reset after backing up my data, but to no use, the problems remain, and further factory resets don't seem to work as intented.
I haven't found anything similar on the web and I'm loosing my cool here, any idea?
EDIT: After trying another factory reset, an update popped out and upon finishing installing it, my phone is working again. Someone close the thread.
