Support NeoGAF

Alright, so I've got a couple games I'd like to play that all require DirectX 9.0c

I've installed 9.0c, both from the games that require them and offer to install it, and from versions I've downloaded.

but when I check my dxdiag, it shows as 9.0b still. If I try to run the install for 9.0b, it says a newer version is installed.

Any ideas?

What game is this that absolutely needs DX 9.0C?
