brave and vivaldi are still chromium based. not as bad but still controlled by google.

use firefox.

What was the problem?

From what I understand, the server hosting GAF was running at 4 MHz and slowing everyone down so they needed to press the turbo button to get it running faster.

Evilore had to blow the NES cartridges that hold the data for the Gaf server.

Tbh the ads when I wasn't on gold have made it horrendous to browse gaf. Some would take up the top the screen and wouldn't go when you pressed the arrow to get rid of them.

I sometimes didn't want browse gaf as the Ads were very intrusive

The next step is to make Gaf work without javascript so that if the internet ever reverts back to 20th-century speeds we can just use browsers like Lynx instead. The only postapocalyptic- and solarstorm-proof gaming forum.
