Stumbled upon this promising looking 2.5D JRPG the other day. A game with the usual trappings of a JRPG, talk with NPCs, take on quests, buy consumables/gear, but the fights are handled with a match 3 system. It's releasing within hours on PC. Developed & published by Taiwan based HeadPot Games, it's originally an iOS game from 2022.
This version is obviously reframed and features new improved chara design & portraits.

Checked the credited voice actors and all of them seem to have been supplied via Inspion, a Japanese music & sound production agency. Mostly hopeful amateurs with little experience and small roles, but the guy doing the Mage Fox's voice did some Persona 3 work and a few minor anime roles.

There's a demo available too, at least on Steam.

Kinda reminds me of Puzzle Quest with the match-3 stuff.

Man, that game was as addicting as cocaine.

Demo is fun. Ill probably get it. Good steam deck game.
