Nice, Beastie Boys!

They need to add a few more names to convince me though. Powderfinger are a definite, as are System of a Down - they're unreal live. Chemical Bros. and JBT are very good also..

If Resin Dogs were there, I would definitely go. They are an act not to miss.

There has been an ACDC rumour bouncing around NZ radio stations for the longest time......

Not a final list btw.

Beastie Boys is the only act I'd be interested in. And I'll more likely see one of their independent shows as opposed to even laying my foot down in a Big Day Out concert.

I really really hope ACDC go. Would definatly make me go.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing The Streets, Beastie Boys, John Butler Trio and System of a Down.

Not bad. It's already looking better then last year's BDO for me.

Did Pacifier change their name back or am I missing something here? (Shihad)

PACIFIER Change Name Back To SHIHAD: 'We Were Wrong' - Sep. 18, 2004

"New Zealand's PACIFIER have officially changed their name back to their previous moniker, SHIHAD. At the time of the initial name change (March 2002), the band attributed their decision to SHIHAD's similarities to the Islam word for Holy War, "jihad."

In explaining the latest switch, the band formerly known as PACIFIER wrote on their web site, "The writing process [for the upcoming album] has brought us closer as a band than we have been for several years, and that being the case we are going to continue as we began — under the name SHIHAD.
