3D isn't bad, just Iga trying to do it. He would be tempted to make it 3D on the PSP, the world doesn't need Lament of Innocence or Nanobreaker prequel / sequels / ports.
I'm perfectly fine with a 3D Castlevania, if it was being made by a different team.

castlevania III forever. though rondo of blood is close behind.
i'm only partly serious about iga killing the franchise. i loved sotn and aria of sorrow, and i even liked harmony of pissypants alright. but there's no hope for the 3d games, and while the portable metroidvanias are nice, i worry that he'll run the franchise into the ground before he actually matches or exceeds sotn. his choice of platform for the new one is inauspicious. to say the least.
