A number of actors have signed on for the untitled Will Ferrell NASCAR comedy and Columbia Pictures. Sacha Baron Cohen, John C Reilly, Michael Clarke Duncan and Gary Cole will all have key roles in the film, which follows world-class race car driver and fan favorite Ricky Bobby (Ferrell). Cohen (Da Ali G Show) will play gay French Formula One driver Jean Girard, whose goal is to take over NASCAR and conquer Ferrell. Reilly will play Ferrell's boyhood friend and cohort.
