I'm sure I still have few on PSN from when they was here, not sure how far down the Ree hole they went. How many of these retards will end up playing the game anyway?
Resetera is not happy so many reviewers are giving it a fair and honest review.
They can mention it if they are hating on Rowling and the game. Can they even mention how upset they are?
Can't imagine what they are going to feel like when they see the sales numbers.
Sooner than later. It will be among the biggest games of the year. They have no choice. My money is one an Era U turn. They already softening in the Rowling hate thread.
This is going to be like cyberpunk where only ree mods are allowed to play it and anyone else who brings it up gets banned right?
Ree right now

Mods there suck, not perfect here either, but theres a lot less oversight and policing everything. I may get annoyed here by somethings but over there if you aren't 100% in lock step with the mods views, ban. I got banned because I defended Japanese games having bath house scenes as being culturally relevant even if US audiences didn't like them, and it was "defending sexism" or something. I agree with people there more politically there, but the bad moderation makes the site damn near impossible to have adult conversations. But the site is thriving so they trying to upkeep their reputation I guess. For me I never posted much on gaf and then the split happened. I checked out resetera for awhile until I was banned for arguing word entomology.
That was 3 years ago I think. I'm a liberal guy but the views were getting more "extreme". The real problem was you couldn't actually have a conversation there without getting brigaded by multiple people. It was only a matter of time before your account was suspended when that happened.
That made it "scary" to post anything cause you feared you'd be banned. And the bans weren't equal. Some of the mods have serious problems with the little authority they have there. I still read on the site cause of the high engagement rate but screw those mods. They power tripping

Hopefully someone here is in the Era Steam group. I want to see how many are playing this day one like that MW2 boycott screenshot. This is going to be like cyberpunk where only ree mods are allowed to play it and anyone else who brings it up gets banned right?
They can't even tell they've bought or are planning to buy itCan they even mention how upset they are?
Forspoken stars a black female protagonist and every single boss and significant character in this game is a woman. All men are either idiots or die
What good it did them lol ?
Resetera on suicide watch.
At least visually it does as it affects your house chambers. Weather its just surface level paint job or not I havn't heard yet.Do we know if what house you choose has any effect on the game?
What if someone said they were at Best Buy and glanced for half a second a game box with a wizard on it?They can't even tell they've bought or are planning to buy it
During 2019-2020 they took a turn for the worst.. It wasn't so much banning people for their views, being assholes or trolls, but banning people for trying to have an actual educated discussion on a topic. I was banned there in relation to an incident that occurred between the kid and a cop. I simply asked, what had happened before the video started to trigger such an escalation.. That was viewed as "Whataboutism" and being somehow incentive towards a victim.Mods there suck, not perfect here either, but theres a lot less oversight and policing everything. They're literally mad that Metacritic is displaying the score at the top of the page lol. They were hoping it would be in the middle or the bottom. They're totally delusional. They can't even tell they've bought or are planning to buy it
I think most of the ERA talk will be here and the OT will be strictly about the game. A fair trade off. There is more talk about trans people and Era than there is talk about the game
I was lookin at this build for pc how is your current experience with games? Sorry for off topicGood scores. Now i will definitely buy it.
Hope my I5 12400f+RTX 3060ti @1440p can get decent fps..
I got banned for saying maybe will smith shouldn't be slapping people on stage, and look for a healthy way to voice their discontent.During 2019-2020 they took a turn for the worst.. CONTEXT AND INFORMATION IS KING! 5 questions.. What, where, when, how and why!
A persons actions should always be judged not just by the action itself but by the context of the situation.
Agreed..There is more talk about trans people and Era than there is talk about the game
Now on topic the game seems quite good, but from what I have read the pc performance may not be, people with no raytracing and RTX4090 at 4k everything else had fps as low as 45, no DLSS
I am thinking now on getting it on ps5
There is nothing that says unforgivable curses were unforgivable before Voldy’s war. Maybe the laws were only made after.Glad it's reviewing well, means I didn't squander my money buying the deluxe edition for PS5. (I tend to squander quite a bit)
From everything I saw and read about the game up to this point, I knew I was going to enjoy putzing around in this universe. But there are two important things from the books/movies that are seemingly just completely ignored in this game. Morality was one of the main plot points in the series, you know, being a good guy or bad guy. In this game, it doesn't really seem to matter much. The other is the casting of the unforgivable curses. Those were a big deal in the books/movies, but in this game they are just spells you can cast with (apparently) no consequences. It seems the closest you can get to any kind of morality points in this game is picking the nice or snarky dialog choices. Though choosing snarky likely just burns a bridge for companion quests.
Now, it's not really going to affect my enjoyment of the game, but it does kinda change what being at Hogwarts was all about on a fundemental level and seems like something that was a missed opportunity by the devs to make your choices and actions have some weight.
Yeah thats what I am leaning towards.. Maybe they lean into that fact you mention in the story itself.(I am going in blind outside of knowing the Potterverse)There is nothing that says unforgivable curses were unforgivable before Voldy’s war. Maybe the laws were only made after.
And morality systems himder storytelling, imo.

This is just the blowoff after talk about critics possibly reviewing the game unfairly due to pressure from REE types. Once the game drops people will discuss the actual game... at least I think. There is more talk about trans people and Era than there is talk about the game
