Lowdown is 3 armed guys go into the one restaurant for a robbery, one girl gets grazed by a bullet to the skull, and another gets one in her fucking hand.
And I'm sitting right in the fucking coffee shop on campus as a friend IMs me this article. My next class is in a building nearby where this happened, holy shit, this is uncool.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to turn this into a "which is better" thing, but that other thread got me wanting to go back, and now I'll use any excuse.

My joking around aside, this is pretty fucking terrible. I don't know much, but I don't know how much of a full recovery one can get from a fucking shot to the hand.

I don't know who it was, I know some people who have worked there, some good friends too, but I've lost touch with so many people over the years, I don't know who still works there and who doesn't. So the answer to the question below is, I don't know.

I can't even begin to fathom why you would rob that place. At 6 in the morning, all they could possibly have is the opening register, right? I mean maybe get some frozen fries? What the fuck? And to shoot them after they complied? Ugh. Its really sickening.
My last class had a bunch of people missing, not surprisingly, but its kind of eerie how much everything has been unaffected.

We had 4 people die on our campus last year. One got shot while he tried to climb into some stranger's house in his drunken stupor and got shot by campus police. Other killed herself, one got shot after he gave two kids a ride home from a party and the other died on spring break in a car accident.

A police officer was shot at Butler down in Indy last week after he tried to escort some guy out of the gym where basketball practice was being held.

Robbery? We got homicide, suicide and manslaughter!
