I think it's awesome. It's more of the style, and art, but I think it looks great.

I like the look, personally. I remember a lot people wishing that Pikmin 2 looked more like model/clay concept artwork it was based on. The final game didn't really capture that look, but this one is actually close to it. Both games make wish that a Mother game on modern hardware was actually forthcoming, however.

While I disagree with your opinion about the art, I agree about the technical qualities. Since GC online is dead in the water, I wonder the developer would consider a DS port or spin-off?

This game looks so flipping great. English translation is unlikey, but hopefully a DS version is in the works. Any Japanese speakers know what the script is like? I hope it's as witty as something like Paper Mario as it's just as charming.
