Oh yes, today I lost my wallet somewhere on campus. I'm 99% sure I had it with me when I rushed out the door this morning, and when I was waiting on the shuttle to come home, my back pocket was empty. I checked all around my apartment, checked back in the classrooms I was in (during the middle of the next classes, haha) and nada.
Check card, credit card, gas card, school ID, insurance card and ~25 bucks gone. I went to the DMV to see about getting a new license, since California will only send me a paper one, and I can't get one until I have a certified copy of my birth certificate (I only have a copy). School ID was relatively painless, though it cost 10 bucks. But right now I have no way of paying for anything, aside from cash, which I have to go inside the bank and fill out a form to withdraw. Ugh! And I don't have a driver license, so a prick of a cop could really screw me over if I get pulled over.
The moral of the story is: get a wallet chain.
