Huge amount of not very good looking effects.
I know a lot of people on here don't like Breath of the Wild but imo Breath of the Wild's art style is beautiful. Of course, it requires good taste and subtlety to create something like that, and the artists on this game who are clearly going for something similar miss the mark by a huge amount. This just mostly looks lazy and garish and cheap. It's like if someone decided Breath of the Wild should be a Marvel game

I know some people think it's cool to hate on everything but there's clearly a lot to like here for people who dig Ninja Gaiden, DMC, and Boyonetta gameplay.

Every gameplay reveal erodes my optimism. Nothing about this game looks appealing. The art style is bland, the characters too strange, and the gameplay too simple. Budget dauntless comes to mind.

Besides being boring with no personality or redeeming physical features? She looks like Walmart Widowmaker but no sex appeal or actual character. More safe horny crap, but at least she's not literally morbidly like that pig with the purple hair.
If you think the gameplay for this turd is 'fluid', then you really need to play games that aren't just Candy Crush and Solitaire.
The gameplay absolutely is fluid though and I was comparing to the chinese games like that Tencent clone everybody pretended was good. The one they said at least had "better looking characters" but the characters were stiff poorly animated generic shite in comparison.
She looks nothing like widowmaker either other than a similar colour.

Dude, even people who actually played this garbage are saying it's not good gameplay wise.
The game looks terrible no matter how you slice it. People have been rightfully shitting on this game from every angle. Gameplay, art style, ugly characters, obnoxious flash particles, another stupid GAAS, etc. There's literally nothing appealing about this turd.

This game doesn't feel like either its premise or its art direction was thought out
I don't hate it, it's just hard to care - nothing they show fills me with much confidence, but maybe it'll get better with future reveals (but not the ones they are currently doing, which are just killing interest by degrees)
Also, Horizon wasn't a great addition to the open world genre (Guerrilla's first attempt to do so, I believe), and since this is the first time Guerrilla is doing Monster Hunter or Whatever, I don't have high hopes they'll get the gameplay right out of the gate for this, either. Still, hope springs eternal.

This game did look better than HHG and it was perfectly fluid, it just wasn't ADHD fast speed combat. And even past that, the game as a whole mogged the shit out of this game. Hell, even the MMO that is in development looks a 1000% better than this game, and its' going to be on mobile, so cell phone owners are going to get a better Horizon game than PS owners.

I don't have much interest in the game, im just happy to see hymen hulst adding another loss to his playstation ceo resume , this time combining his two passions, gaas and the horizon IP.
I wish we lived in a world where so many errors of judgment leads to a firing, but i'll settle with most not caring at all and not wanting to play what moronic suits like him wants us to play and care about.
