I know they're trying to make it look like real life, but could they at least make it like the more exciting parts? :lolDCX said:
To think that UT07 isn't coming to 360 in one way, shape or form is foolish. I'm sure the first pic is a render but considering how great Gears of War looks, i can guess it's not out of the realm of possibility....now that second pic kinda reminds me of an american version of Shenmue, sans sailors.Doom_Bringer said:The first pic is a render, Unreal Tournament 2007 is a PC game and lastly Ninja Gaiden Black is for Xbox not Xbox 360.
Gears of War and the Japanese games are looking HAWT!
Well it's listed on IGN's 360 game list...accord 4 me said:the steel monkeys game is a pc title only

As the gaming press fell over itself to be the first to post screens of the wonderful-looking 2 Days to Vegas last week, perhaps SPOnG was the only games outlet bothering to question the validity of the various next-gen claims.
And it would seem we were right to do so. You may have read on various sites that the game is well underway for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This simply is not the case right now.
In a case of catastrophic blunderings, it would seem again that not a single outlet bothered to obtain clarification from developer Steel Monkeys on the progress and platform of its eye-opening game. Except of course, SPOnG.
So, to settle the matter: 2 Days to Vegas is in development for PC right now. Not anything else. The game certainly looks better than other recent titles flagged as next-gen, thatÂ’s for sure, and SPOnG believes it's likely that the title will make the jump when the time is right.

People misunderstand the MTV show - it's for the casuals. The type of people who own a console but probably only buy one or two games a year. One of which is FIFA / Madden and the other <THE BIG GAME OF THE MOMENT THAT THEIR FRIEND AT WORK TOLD THEM ABOUT>.
E3 will be when the chest puffing, groin-thrusting presentations of the X360 launch lineup are shown for the hardcore faithful.
360 hardware is as hot as hell. If current Xbox an push out stuff like Ninja Gaiden as well as excellent versions of current gen PC stuff like HL2 & Doom 3 - can you imagine what treats are in-store for us with the new MS hardware? Only limiation is the devs themselves. Some will rise to the challenge and give us eye-popping next-gen experiences, others will be happy to feed us the usual bucket slops (...cough...EA....cough).
seismologist said:I think X360 will struggle to run Unreal 3 engine games. The same way Xbox struggles on games like Doom and Half Life.
GoW In that MTV clip was running at like 10fps.

I doubt it....i really think that PD0 Pic is based off an old version of the game...i really think the final version will look 3x better.seismologist said:your probably right, I'm sure it'll run but, it's gonna struggle to run games that look like that.
Average 360 games that run smoothly will look more like this

Real or not, like i said it does give us a glimpse to what could be possible for a future GTA.AlphaSnake said:That Steel Monkeys game "2 Days to Vegas" isn't real, according to Oxygen/Element. Those images are just conceptual renders, apparently code doesn't even exist for it.
Steel Monkeys said:Unfortunately, some of the images that are displayed on the website are our internal benchmark graphics and were not actually meant to go live, although I can say that they are a very fair representation of our current standard and what could be the minimum final quality. The title is definitely being developed for PC on our new "belief" engine, however we are also a console developer and the next generation hardware is very interesting.
:lol :lol :lol Well screen shot 7 is PD0 Alpha ( sounds like a Capcom game ) and screen shot 8 is Ninja Gaiden Black for Xbox...just thrown in there to show how good XBOX can hold up to early next gen...kinda like when DC 2nd/3rd gen stuff helf up well to PS2's first gen stuff...3pheMeraLmiX said:Everything looks pretty nice, except for screenshots 7 and 8, they stand out like a sore thumb for some reason.
