How come, in the year 2023, Wikipedia still doesn't have a damn dark setting?

Unless I'm missing it?! It took Facebook forever to get a dark setting as well. Dark setting is the best. I keep my stuff on dark even during the day. Why is making a dark setting so difficult for companies?

It's mindblowing how bad a lot of companies are at implementing a feature that is extremely beneficial to their users.

I'm looking at you Microsoft, you fucks! Where is my Excel dark mode? You try staring at a spreadsheet on a 32 inch monitor all day

The goddamn mobile app has a dark mode, it's the only reason i have installed it.
How hard it is to implement on the website?

Browser extensions are probably your best bet. I use this one for Mozilla and Opera:

Hasn't caused me any problems and is incredibly consistent when it comes to darkening the entire page. Some extensions won't cover all the elements on the screen, but this always comes through. Would strongly recommend OP.
