I'm sure most people just have it in their pants. I knew a guy who likes keeping them in the breast pocket, which is a ticking time bomb before an asshole friend slaps you on the back.

So what type of 'bottom wear' do you usually wear. Any specific pocket you like?

I usually like 'looser' stuff, like sweat pants and those basketball ones (forgot their names). I used to have my keys and pencils/pens in the same pocket as my phone (right pocket), but that's what scratched the back of my iphone 4, so I tend to keep those stuff out now =P

And I'm stumped on a whitty tagline for this... I've disappointed my family.

Jeans, front left pocket. I used to carry it in my front right pocket, but I scratched the fuck out of my iPhone 3G's screen on the coin pocket rivet. This also forced a belt buckle orientation change. Now the buckle is on the right side, else it could swing and knock into the phone. Man, who knew this stuff would be so complicated?

you know when your sitting down and you have to slip and reach in there to pull your phone out it's BS

side pockets with zippers is prolly better

Regardless of pants or shorts, my phone is always riding solo in my front right pocket. Keys solo in the left, wallet back right. Its been that way for nearly 20 years.

I put my wallet in my left pocket and it is usually covered by my hand in my pocket. Kind of hard to pickpocket it without grabbing my crotch or something.

This. If I'm wearing a jacket and it has a breast pocket then it goes there otherwise it's default in the right front pocket no matter what pants I'm wearing. My current phone doesn't have any protective case or etc since it's one of those shitty free ones you get when you make a contract. I'll make sure to get something for my Galaxy S2 when I get it in a few weeks.
