How does the Famicom Micro faceplate look on a Silver Micro?

So I ordered a Silver faceplate from Nintendo (since Nintendo is too inept to include matching faceplates with their system :rolleyes), but I noticed that they were also offering Famicom Micro faceplates as well. So I went ahead and ordered both...now I'm wondering how it'll actually look on the unit. Anyone have a pic of it?

Could you order one for me? I don't live in USA (I'm from Italy - EU), so I can't order a Famicom Faceplate from Nintendo.com.

I will send you money in advance via PAYPAL.

If you gently could help my request let me know it via PM. Thanks in advance. :)

Hmm can you use anything else besides the included tool to remove the faceplates? I just got the FF4 micro in today but it doesn't look like it came with one.

You can use you nails.... works perfectly.

Is there any other way to get some faceplates (online store or something, not nintendo.com)? I live in the Netherlands and I would love to have a new faceplate for my blue Micro.

Thanx alot!

Famicom on silver looks ghetto ugly.

Black faceplate on the Famicom's red base should look good though.

I got my Famicom Micro a week ago and I can't get over how HOT DAMN SEX it looks, pictures don't do it justice... This is the hottest looking peace of hardware Nintendo ever produced. I'm stunned every time I look at it, I don't want it to ever get scratched :( I wish I could afford to buy another one (preferably the Japanese edition) and keep it in the box, I never wanted to do that with anything else ever.

does anyone have a pic of a black GBM with black faceplate? I am looking for this combination for a long time but I am stuck with my flame faceplate with the black GBM

Is anyone else's Mciro faceplate a tad loose on the left hand side? Mine sticks out abit and I can press it down, its not flush to the casing like the right hand side and it really bugs me despite it being only a few millimetres.

Guess that what happens when I buy 2nd hand, although I did get like 40% off and the rest of it is fine.

Damn right! I thought I wouldn't ever want to play it, but I can hardly even put it down. (Doesn't hurt that Klonoa 2 and Mario & Luigi are some of the best games I've played recently.)

I feel the same way about the FF4 micro. The whole faceplate being metallic really makes it stand out. I've gone out of my way to get sox as a step towards keeping it in pristine condition so far. My god is the Micro sexy! I wonder how the other faceplates will look on a blue base tho..

The FF4 micro is metalic? I didn't know that. I'd love to see some actual user-taken photos as opposite to official/promotional shots.

I just got a micro. Does anyone make 3rd party faceplates or does Nintendo sell additional ones?

store.nintendo.com

I notice that they only sell black, silver and Famicom though. Was hoping they'd be selling some of the ones including in the micro I don't own (black one).

yeah I know it when something is FF related. Im no FF-noob :P

what I meant was, at first glance it doesnt resemble "final fantasy 4" at all, but more a painting from Picasso.

Paladin Cecil. DuHHHRRR.
...
Anyway, I'm pleased with how the Fami Micro looks, only other one I'd get is the two player face plate.
Although I dropped my micro the other day and although it works fine and there is no outer damage, when I shake it something rattles. ><

My start button is loose :(

Thanks a bunch. There isn't a difference between the US version and Japanese version other than packaging, right?

I've been thinking about buying a Micro, and if I do it I might as well get this one. I have a DS, and I play GBA games on it, but it's just not as portable as I'd like. It also sorta bugs me that when I play GBA games I can see my reflection in the screen that I'm not using, heh.

iirc the japanese one has the happy! 20th mario (or whatever) logo on the back instead of the regular stuff on the us ones.

Ok, so I've decided to either get the Famicom or the black one. Why in the world doesn't the black micro come with a black faceplate? Where could I get a black faceplate?

Thanks. I haven't really been to that site all that much, and before I posted my previous post I did a search for Micro and didn't find anything, but I see it all now.

I love how you can still buy a battery cover for the original Game Boy. :lol

I think I just might get the Black micro and buy that black faceplate. I might change my mind by tomorrow though...
