I have 32 GB of RAM and I regret not having 64 GB right now looking at prices. As long as consoles don't suddenly increase their memory pools a lot in the next gen I should still be OK but I feel like I'm not really future proof with 32 GB and I have no idea when prices might improveWhy do so many of you have 64 gigs of ram? are you editing feature films?![]()
RAM was cheap as fuck for a long time. Might as well do some future proofing. Now it's worth more than my house. Why do so many of you have 64 gigs of ram? are you editing feature films?![]()

Run smoothly at non stable 30fps.The PlayStation 3 (PS3) has a total of 512MB of RAM, but it's split into two 256MB pools: 256MB of XDR System RAM for the CPU and 256MB of GDDR3 VRAM (Video RAM) for the GPU, each optimized for its specific task, allowing games to run smoothly despite the seemingly low amount compared to modern PCs.
That is my big fear, that something gonna break during another price hike.Just had one of my 32 gig DDR5 sticks go bad. It was causing BSOD. Still have the other one, thankfully.
