My bed is always made. I sleep on top of my duvet and use a separate blanket that I just fold up and put to the side.

Can change the separate blanket out for something lighter or heavier depending on temperature, plus I can just flip the duvet for a fresh side, ~doubling time between changes. It's also comfier.

Bed?

Never. I get back in it that night. Making it is just a waste of time.

We only have a fitted sheet with a doona (duvet?) on top so it's not like you're wrestling with an extra sheet or anything.

Literally never, making the bed prevents the matrass from airing out properly and serve no purpose other than to pat yourself on the back for "doing a thing".
People who scoff at ones that don't make the bed, are probably the same people who keep their shoes on in the house and let their pets on the bed as well. 🤮

I'm not doing some fancy hotel crease and tuck...but I do make the bed. Wash the sheets once a week.
No one is in there with me but if my traps wor...I mean if I am ever lucky enough to have a co-pilot its smeeeeeels real nice.

We don't use a top sheet - just a blanket. I get up between 5-6am and straighten my side as best I can. My wife sleeps until 10:30. After she's up and moves to the living room, I have a late morning routine where I feed the dog, do the dishes, open the curtains, turn off the air purifier, and pull the blanket up over the pillows and get it square over the bed. I mainly do that because our dog likes to sleep on the foot of our bed during the day, and I don't want him getting the sheets hairy. He's a shed monster.

I switch out our sheet and pillow cases every weekend. and run them with the kid's laundry.

When do you guys work if your morning routine is that late?

Every day I fix it, because it's one of those golden routines that activate your brain to organize and work. I notice I get sloppier in things if the little routines slip.

Few times a month, and that's only cause I change my sheets. I rip apart my bed at night, and I can't be arsed to make it everyday. My fiancée hates that, but she also doesn't make the bed, soooo 🤷

Two or three times a day. Mainly because the dog climbs up and rests or sleeps there, but also I find that the bed feels more refreshing and relaxing if it's properly arranged as opposed to what I used to have during, say, my student years.

Not sure where I read this, but supposedly you shouldn't make your bed every day. The best way to keep dust mites down is to leave your bed unkempt, open the blinds/curtains and let sunlight in to hit your bed which will dry them up and kill them off. If you make your bed every day, it keeps the lower level of sheets the perfect breeding ground for the dust mites, unless you're also changing your sheets often.

This. Especially after a sweaty night

Everyday. But do have the windows opened and the top sheet pulled back around twice a week

Daughter has a cat, so the top quilt gets a hoover a couple of times a week to get the escaped hairs

Change the bottom sheet every week and the pillows and quilt cover every 2.

Even spin around the mattress every couple of months

Any spills or mess that can't be cleaned up, instant change 👍😂

Like mentioned. Nothing beats the smell and feel of fresh bedding. Especially after a shower or bath 😊
