My friend has a copy of high times and I'm thinking about growing a small plant for personal use.

How safe is it to order though? Will the cops get me? Will they send it in an unconspicuous package? What's the deal, anyone ever try it?

Need me some white widow.

Unless you live in Wisconsin, or another state with similarly lenient laws on growing, you should not even bother... especially if you only plan on growing one plant. I believe you'd need at least four to get anything worth anything.

Were do you live? In some places seeds a legal. Even when pot is not.

If you in the US I think your fucked most reputable places won't send into the US. When I last needed seeds I walk into a store lit up a few samples and purchased. (Hugs Maple Leaf)

I live in CT, I don't think seeds are legal.

EDIT: Haha then I won't bother. I'm going to a concert this Monday, I'll look for some seeds there. If I get some, hopefully they won't have terrible genetics.

Not at all. One plant is cool for one person, even though the stash definitely won't be big.

On the other hand, though, a good weed plant isn't something you just grow in your window. You need proper lighting, closet space, ventilation, dirt and nourishment (in both dirt and liquid form) and... basically a whole fuckin' bunch of shit for it to be worth a damn.

So, I mean, just doing it for kicks isn't worth the risk since your yield will be low in both quantity and potency.

Oh no, that's exactly what you don't want. The female plant is what you smoke, the male plant (and thus the pollinated female plant) is next to worthless.

Most people would love to grow their own. They just can't. You have to buy some fresh mids or regs. Anything with stems and seeds. With enough seeds, you'll get something to sprout, and then it's all a wonderful guessing game. But it's basically free, except for the fact that you're smoking regs. PEACE.

well it is illegal to order, but small seed shipments rarely get anybody in trouble, and they usually ship them very inconspicuously. really though, wouldn't it be easier to just ask a friend for seeds they might happen to find in their pot?
