So I am a n00b and I needs some help.... Anyone else try connecting an PC running XP to your 360? I am on a wireless network and I went to xbox.com/pcsetup to download the media extender.... but when it begins it says I need .net framework....

Do I have to buy this? Has anyone else set their's up with some advice?

Im running SP2.... but when i attempt to dl the xbox media extender it says i need .net framework installed.....

I am trying to find that on Microsoft's website.... but I thought that .net framework was already included in SP2?

XP SP2 doesn't include .NET...

I know you needed to install .NET 1.1 for Xbox 1, not sure if you need 1.1 or 2.0 for 360, it should specify somewhere on xbox.com...

i can't get it to work either. but i'm not getting a .Net error. mine simply won't connect. says it can't find the 360, this despite me having XBL and it working perfect online.

Why can't I at least stream WMV movie files? I want anime and 1up Show, damnit!

Is there any way to do that yet?

Yes, btu you need Media Center Edition 2005. Streaming video does NOT work with just XP. And always make sure your firewall etc is setup properly.

Got it working.... just found .net framework...

Sucks that you can't stream video without Windows XP Windows Media Center Edition.... I have all teh Justice League episodes on my computer and i wanted to watch them in my living room....

Oh well... guess i can put em on dvd....

The audio streaming is pretty sweet though.....
