I want to get my girlfriend a docking station for her laptop so she can use a normal monitor and keyboard when she's at her desk. The only ones I've seen specifically for HPs is on ebay and they say they're for omnibooks. Is a port replicatior the same thing? Is there a way to just use USB? Any other suggestions? I like the idea of a traditional docking station cause it's a lot quicker to come home and slide it in and then quickly slide it out when you leave instead of always hooking up cords.
