Anyone watching this?

Pretty entertaining so far. Josh McRoberts has been pretty impressive so far, Duke recruit. Amir Johnson tore it up in the first round, one with one ball in each hand.

I'm looking forward to seeing three dukies in the McD game at 8 vs three tar heels. Yeah...I'm still jonsin after my team lost....poor substitute lol

Amir Johnson with the free throw line dunk, about a half inch inside the line, nice :)

And then McRoberts answers with a behind the back toss to tie!

All three were impressive, I thought Amir's first round dunks were the best though.

Here goes the game! :)

First shot is an airball by an alabama recruit, fitting :lol

I caught the tail end of the first half and most of the second half. It was ok, pretty nice displays of young athleticism. One of the point guards tossed a lot of really nice passes, he was impressive in that regard. I don't remember his name, but he was the guy who knocked out that poor cheerleader while going after a loose ball. Where was OJ Mayo? I read about him in this month's SLAM and he's supposed to be the consensus #1 high school player, or something to that effect.

Eh, the Tar Heel recruits didn't have great games...which makes me thrilled! JR Smith left me bitter.

BTW, McRoberts looks awesome. Randolph is in trouble, I doubt he'll get more than 6-7 minutes a game. I wouldn't be surprised to see McRoberts start by the time ACC play rolls around next season.

Amir Johnson is due to come to Louisville, if he doesn't go to the NBA....

Amir should be going to UL. Most places say he's nowhere near ready for the pros and doesn't have a chance to get drafted. Only reason he would go is if he can't make the grades.

No kidding. McRoberts looks like everything Shav was hyped up to be. He and Paulus already had a nice connection going. Never too early to start talking hoops! What? You say the season isn't over? ....

yeah, it looks like Josh McRoberts is gonna be the Indiana Mr. Basketball, if its not that Zeller kid. he should get it because from what ive seen, ( and its alot, living in indiana and all) Zeller is a way better player.

Maybe, maybe not...it's no secret that Stern is pushing for an age limit of 20 for NBA draftees in the new CBA, which I guess would take effect prior to this year's NBA draft.

Anyway, saw most of the second half and some of the game highlights...pretty fun stuff.

I don't think Gerald Green will be attending OSU, he seems to me like he'll go straight for the NBA.

After the game, he said he's almost definitely coming to OSU. He still needs to improve his defense and work ethic, and the fact that he's great friends with Byron Eaton (East point guard) should help.

I'm interested in what is going to happen to you guys this year. Between your seniors leaving and the possible exodus of May (probalby could go - has the skills) / McCants (clealry wants to go, but depends on whether he's a lottery pick IMO, which I don't know) / Felton (who knows?), and even Marvin Williams (IMO the best talent on your team), the Carolina cupboard could be very bare next year. At least you're not going to lose all your recruits to the NBA this year (hey, it happens to both of us!)

The Illini will be lucky to have a 15-win season next year. Head, Williams, Powell are gone for sure. Depending on how far we go this year, Brown might leave too. That's 4 starters + 2 of the only 3 bench players that actually contribute (Smith and Ingram).

This will be Illinois' only shot at a national title for years to come, and they know it. Whatever benefits we stand to reap from this awesome year recruiting-wise won't be coming for another 2 years.

So we'll have:

McBride who looks to be decent (nowhere near the level of our 3 g's today)starting next year.

Calvin Brock who was one of the best Illinois HS players couple years back coming off a redshirt. Don't know much about him to be honest.

Augustine will be returning, and will probably be made the centerpiece of whatever new offense Weber concocts.

We'll get to see Weber's REAL quality as a coach.

you give those players to Pitino, Roy Williams, or Tom Izzo and they'd all be lucky to get 15 wins.

They also have Randle, Carter, and Pruit coming back plus Marcus Arnold(6'8 250 12.3 PPG at ISU) will be eligible. If Brown comes back and they can get some decent play out of one or both of their freshman guards they can still be a pretty decent team.

Weak high school class....very weak. It's also a very weak college class, though, too, so I would still expect some of these guys to declare for the draft.

After a bit of research, it actually doesn't look too bad for the Illini next year. Rebuilding year no doubt, since the bulk of talent will be so young and inexperienced.

If Brock and Pruitt develop nicely, and Brown and Augustine return, they might actually do better than 15 wins. Should be fun watching these guys develop. Randle is one I'm told to watch out for as well.

Not to mention Wisconsin is losing Wilkinson, Morely, Chambliss, Hanson, Helmgik so they should be down a bit. MSU loses Hill, Torbert, and Anderson. Plus if Davis keeps it up he could turn pro but I doubt it.

My Wolverines have chance to be very good next year if they can stay healthy(or not beat women) and Tommy learns how to coach. Iowa also return their whole team and if Bracy stays Indiana should be good. Gonna be a dog fight in the Big Ten next year.
