Evey as played by Portman...
V as played by Weaving...

Hrrm.

Dunno if I like Weaving as V--he'll have to camp it up a little bit at times to make it work--and get deathly serious at others. Can he pull it off?

Dead

well not really...yet
Wonder why Purefoy left? Maybe he wasn't comfortable working with a trannie :lol

But that's pretty awesome news, the movie is one of my most anticipated this year, everything I've read about it seems like they're going in the right direction....

Well at least that answers the question that the comic poses, who is V? A white guy as opposed to the black man that was strongly suggested by the comic.

It'll suck like every other adaptation of Moore's works on the big screen.

Only if they just take the characters and do their own thing with them--like every other Moore movie. :p

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen sucked because the plot was godawful, not because it wasn't faithful to the comic. (I do wish it had been more faithful, but it didn't inherently suck because of that.)
