Just grab Immortals for like a fiver on the greymarket right now. It takes a bit to get going though but once it opens up you're basically left with magic DOOM, complete with environmental puzzles and exploration that is rewarded in some very detailed and lush areas.

It's not going to blow your socks off but for the price of a burger it'll definitely be your money's worth.

They released it same month as Baldur's Gate 3, and about 1 week or 2 before Starfield. Game didn't stand a chance, but you're right. It wasn't marketed very well, and the early previews were not too kind.

Nah, there's some light exploration but it isn't an immersive Sim.
It's more like a crappy take on a Doom style shooter but with a magic theme and with a truly awful story that feels like chat gpt trying to do stereotypical MCU writing.

Did anyone ever get that piece of shit Immortals of Aveum to stop stuttering on pc ? Seems like the only option was to play with stutter or play some low res smeary looking version on console.

I finished Aveum on PC. No technical issues. But it is not great. It is like, 6 or 7/10 at best. Somewhat decent but I barely remember anything from it.

Trepang though, I am interested in.
