Unsure about regret, but I made a thread in Off-Topic looking for people's top TV, Movie, and Anime picks of 2025:

Because there's so much content out today it can be easy to miss out on some good gems. Plus I wanted to see some stuff that people might post that I have never heard of.

However, it unfortunately only reached 13 posts and died. I also think OT might have a small issue of hate-watching through bad content instead of looking for good content, but I don't want to fully make that claim based on a failed thread.

Some poster was trying to make a thread with a pun about giant erections, but for some reason the created thread would 403, maybe GAF hates erection puns? So he made a new thread, but that 403'd. So he made another.
I made a thread asking about what the fuck was going on with all these giant erection threads - and it 403'd. So I made another.

Thread 'What If Microsoft And Sony Worked Together On GamePass'

Right now GamePass is a $14.99/month subscription. If Microsoft and Sony were to work together they could increase this to $19.99/month and have both companies' games be playable from the same GamePass subscription service. Playstation games on GamePass would still only be playable on Playstation consoles, and Xbox games would still only be playable on Xbox consoles. The reason I specify this is that by keeping them brand-specific it is still encouraging both companies to remain competitive in hardware, which should also keep the software (games) competitive as they still want people to...

Oh, to be young and dumb again. Looking back, I'm glad the top voted for option was "This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, and you should probably be banned."

The more people responded the more I realized this wasn't the amazing idea I thought it was. It would definitely be better for Sony to create a direct GamePass competitor to prevent collusion and encourage competition. All in all, I'd say my first OP topic was a failure.
