extremely sharp writing for a shounen manga. However, the author has a bad habit of bringing perversions and quirky research topics into his storylines.
In terms of OVERALL story - there's not much common theme / goal to it
However, despite that, it never feels shallow or cookie-cutter. It's worth your time.
Idk if HXH is licensed so hopefully I won't get in trouble for asking this, does anyone know if they stop makng the anime? I haven't found any new episodes for a very long time. Also, if its not licensed, where can i get the manga?
The anime ended after Greed Island as I recall. HxH lacks some things at times but is still probably the best of the current generation of shounen "fighting" manga. Togashi Yoshihiro is one of the sharpest authors in the genre IMO.
The anime is a 62 ep tv series and three continuing OVAs (8, 8, and 14 eps respectively), although once you get to the OVAs the quality starts going downhill.
OT but does anybody know the latest on the 20th Century Boys manga? When I heard Viz picked it up a while ago I thought it'd be out by now (or at least may) but I can't even find any info.
