First volume of the domestic manga is out now, and I picked it up today... it's not bad. What I want to know is, how many volumes does it last?

Its up to 21 volumes it seems

Its by far one of my favourites "recent" shounen. Tons better than One Piece, Naruto, Bleach etc... At the top of my shelf :)

Art gets a bit lazy the further you go in though :lol

Oh, does it? :(

The beginning of that first volume is actually what got me to read it, where he's sitting in the tree with the leaf jacket/hat on.

Hm...

on-going.

extremely sharp writing for a shounen manga. However, the author has a bad habit of bringing perversions and quirky research topics into his storylines.

In terms of OVERALL story - there's not much common theme / goal to it
However, despite that, it never feels shallow or cookie-cutter. It's worth your time.

Idk if HXH is licensed so hopefully I won't get in trouble for asking this, does anyone know if they stop makng the anime? I haven't found any new episodes for a very long time. Also, if its not licensed, where can i get the manga?

We used to sell bootleg HXH boxes at work, and there were two boxes, then an OVA (or an OVA set, maybe).

I have no idea how many episodes, though... boss pulled all the boots several months back, before I got a chance to watch.

Chapter 238 of the manga just came out. Still goin' strong, even though this arch is kinda weird. HxH is definitely one of my favorites.

Killua > *

The anime ended after Greed Island as I recall. HxH lacks some things at times but is still probably the best of the current generation of shounen "fighting" manga. Togashi Yoshihiro is one of the sharpest authors in the genre IMO.

The anime is a 62 ep tv series and three continuing OVAs (8, 8, and 14 eps respectively), although once you get to the OVAs the quality starts going downhill.

I really wish they would bring back this anime, even though my interest pretty much peaked around the
Genkei Ryodan arc
.

OT but does anybody know the latest on the 20th Century Boys manga? When I heard Viz picked it up a while ago I thought it'd be out by now (or at least may) but I can't even find any info.

I haven't read Hunter X Hunter since a little after the beginning of that Ant storyline. Has that storyline ended yet?
