Holy fuck what a game

I first bought it at launch but dropped it because it was complicated as fuck and Ozaru Vegeta kept destroying me. But after some practice... Boy.. When that combat clicks.. it CLICKS.

Amazing and addicting combat, fantastic visuals (for an anime game) and animations, fun as hell. When you get good with the combat, those fights look just like the show.

getting past great ape vegeta means nothing, the combat is still overly complex with a billion different things you need to keep track off, once you actually start fighting enemies that do everything perfectly because they just read your inputs and go with the best counters every time, the only thing that starts to click is that it's fundamentally a broken combat system, XV2 is miles ahead in this regard, not surprising since that one is made by an actual fighting game dev who worked on SF4.

It looks very good and is still fun against friends though.

Ape Vegeta is the real tutorial. Once you beat him, everyone else is childs play from then on really. and the combat becomes quite simple when you beat him

I dropped it for months, randomly picked it up again a week ago and suddenly the combat just clicked.

im now really good and having a fucking blast. SSBlue Gogeta is so fucking beastly to play as

Ok, so you ran through the ginyu force easily first try then I suppose, because that's the actual real filter, not vegeta.
After I beat Vegeta, I stopped playing the story mode and just did P1 vs CPU fights for fun, thats what made me LOVE the combat (and get good at it) so then I went back to the story mode and destroyed everyone, yes.

The only issue I had later on was playing as Goku Black vs SSBlue Vegeto. He whooped my ass

i'm shit at fighting games, so dropped it early.
Was kind of let down with the low budget story mode, I liked the what if scenarios a lot, but with previous games having actual re-enacted cutscenes, and this is just a slideshow...very disappointing.

I barely even bothered with the story mode. For me its just the fights.

Unlock your fav characters and hop online (or face the cpu), thats where its at
